WARRANTY

1. WARRANTY COVERAGE
Forge Technologies Pty Ltd ("Forge", "we", "us") warrants that each Forge product purchased from an authorised retailer or directly from forgetechnologies.com.au will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of twelve (12) months from the original date of purchase ("Warranty Period").
This warranty applies to the following products:
- Forge Genesis Smartwatch (all colour variants)
- Forge Core Smart Ring (all sizes)
- Official Forge accessories purchased separately
2. WHAT IS COVERED
During the Warranty Period, Forge will, at its sole discretion, either repair or replace any product that proves to be defective under normal use conditions. This includes:
- Manufacturing defects in hardware components
- Premature failure of the display, sensors, or battery under normal use
- Defective buttons, straps (original), or charging components
- Water damage within the product's rated IP/ATM specifications when used as directed
3. WHAT IS NOT COVERED
This warranty does not cover damage resulting from:
- Misuse, abuse, accident, or negligence
- Unauthorised modifications, repairs, or disassembly
- Normal wear and tear, including scratches, dents, and strap degradation
- Damage caused by use outside the product's rated specifications (e.g., exceeding depth ratings)
- Damage from third-party accessories or chargers
- Software issues caused by third-party applications
- Cosmetic damage that does not affect functionality
- Products purchased from unauthorised resellers
4. HOW TO MAKE A WARRANTY CLAIM
To initiate a warranty claim:
- Email [email protected] with your order number, a description of the issue, and photos if applicable
- Our support team will assess your claim within 3 business days
- If approved, we will provide a prepaid return shipping label (within Australia)
- Once we receive and inspect the product, we will repair or replace it within 10 business days
5. REPLACEMENT PRODUCTS
Replacement products may be new or refurbished to a condition functionally equivalent to new. Replacement products carry the remainder of the original Warranty Period or 90 days, whichever is longer.
6. SHIPPING COSTS
For valid warranty claims within Australia, Forge will cover return shipping costs. International customers are responsible for shipping costs to our Melbourne service centre. Forge will cover the cost of shipping the repaired or replacement product back to you.
7. AUSTRALIAN CONSUMER LAW
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
This warranty is in addition to, and does not limit, your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
8. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Forge's liability under this warranty is limited to the repair or replacement of the defective product. Forge shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of or inability to use the product.
